Rochelle Ranch Golf Course

Rochelle Ranch Golf Course is a public, 18-hole municipal golf course located three hours north of Dnever in Rawlings, Wyoming. The course is located just off of I-80 in the high desert landscape common to south central Wyoming. Rochelle Ranch is named after Curt and Marian Rochelle, local sheep ranchers who paid for and contracted the building of the course and then gifted the golf course to the city of Rawlings.

Rochelle Ranch first opened for play in 2004. The course was designed by Ken Kavanaugh.

Measuring, 7,925 from the back tees, The course is the longest golf course in Wyoming. Golf Digest Magazine ranks Rochelle Ranch as the 29th toughest golf course in America by. Golf Magazine calls Rochelle Ranch one of the top five courses in Wyoming and one of America's best golf values.

The length of the course is helped a bit with the golf ball flying a bit farther at the course's 6800 feet elevation which also offers good elevation change, and great views. Rochelle Ranch has a rugged weathered look with wind-blown bunkers, tall wavy grasses and large sand dunes. The course also challenges you with strong prairie breezes. The area normally averages 18-29 mph wind conditions. The wide fairways help in these conditions as well as the the firm fairways that give you extra yards ofroll.
