Valley View Golf Course is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Moorefield, West Virginia.
Valley View Golf Course first opened for play in 1969. The course was designed by Russell Roberts. It was later renovated by Bill Ward.
Valley View is a public golf course for the beginner to the advanced player, with four sets of tees from which to play. Water comes into play on eight holes, forty-one sand bunkers are scattered throughout the course, and nearly every fairway is lined with trees. Narrow fairways are lined with trees. The signature hole is #14, the 388-yard par 4, requiring a long tee shot past a water hazard.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,154 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,928 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 541 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 129 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 14, a 388 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Valley View Golf Course is # 7, a 365 yard par-4.
