The Creek At Qualchan Golf Course first opened for play in 1992. The course was designed by William G. Robinson.
The Creek At Qualchan Golf Course is a tight and hilly course with numerous pine trees lining all fairways. There are also many sand bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout the course. The large greens are somewhat sloped and medium speed.
The Qualchan creek winds through the course, five ponds, wooded and hilly areas, a few holes with open beauty, and well protected greens add a treat for Spokane golfers. Qualchan is located in a very natural setting, a sanctuary for many species of birds and wildlife. Four sets of tees and a par of 72 will give all skill levels a golf challege that will match their level of play.
The Signature Hole at The Creek At Qualchan Golf Course is #1, a 359 yard, par-4. #1 has you teeing off a cliff edge over Latah Creek to the fairway 100 feet below. Four bunkers line the fairway near the landing zone which delivers extra anticipation of where your ball will end up as it freefalls from the sky.
