Detailed description

Tradition Golf Club At Stonehouse, The, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Toano, Virginia.

The Traditon golf course first opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by Mike Strantz.

Located just outside Williamsburg, Virginia, Stonehouse is laid over wild, tumbling hills near the York River in the Tidewater Region. When it opened in 1996, The Tradition Golf Club at Stonehouse was named "Best New Upscale Public Course in the Nation" and one of the "Top New Ten You Can Play" by Golf Magazine. Stonehouse was awarded 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest.

The Course winds over 6,963 yards of steep forested hills, wide plateaus, and abrupt ravines. Against this backdrop, the danger of deep bunkers and long carries is balanced by the relative safety of broad fairways and enormous putting greens.

Gold tees: 6,963 yards, course ranking 75.0, slope ranking 140.

Black tees: 6,551 yards, course ranking 73.3, slope ranking 136.

White tees: 6,111 yards, course ranking 71.4, slope ranking 133.

Green tees: 5,013 yards, course ranking 69.1, slope ranking 121.

The Tradition Golf Club At Stonehouse Golf Course closed November 2017.
