Lago Vista Country Club

Lago Vista Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Lago Vista, Texas.

The course opened for play in 1971 as a 9-hole layout designed by Dave Bennett. The course originally opened as to help promote lot sales in the young, unincorporated neighborhoods that make up the city of Lago Vista today. Shortly thereafter, under the guidance of course designer Leon Howard, the course was renovated and expanded to 18 holes, and operated as a private country club until the mid 1990s. Today, all golfers are welcome to enjoy the undulating fairways, lake views, and wildlife at Lago Vista Golf Course. The course was built on hilly terrain and its back nine has narrow fairways. Water comes into play on three holes.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,579 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,122 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 563 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 199 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 15, a 544 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 9, a 377 yard par-4.
