Luna Vista Golf Course, previously named L.B. Houston Municipal Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Dallas, Texas.
The course first opened for play in 1969 and was designed by Leon Howard and Dave Bennett.
The course was redesigned and reopened in October 2012 and along with a new look came a new name, the golf course is now named Luna Vista Golf Course. Luna Vista Golf Course is part of the LB Houston Sports Complex and used to share the same name.
All of the fairways and green complexes were reshaped and several sand bunkers were added. The golf course sits on a rolling landsape with a variety of trees, including magnolia, sweet gum, and maple and the Dallas skyline in the background. Water hazards come into play on a number of holes.
