Briarcrest Country Club first opened for play in 1971. The course was designed by Marvin Ferguson.
The 18-hole golf course plays to a par 72, at a length of 6,678 yards from the Championship tees. Many of the holes are tree-lined and are a classic example of a challenging design and playable beauty. The design is “old-school†in that the course is very walkable as the next tee is always in close proximity. The course was completed in 1971 and has undergone putting green and fairway improvements to modernize the standards of play with current day grasses found at top-level courses across the South
