Dixie Oaks Golf Club first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Dick Gross. This scenic course was cut out of a forest and is surrounded by both young and mature trees. Wildlife, such as turkey, deer, hawks, and birds, can be spotted while playing the course. The fairways are rolling and some are dogleg configurations. All of the greens have some undulation. Water hazards and bunkers can also come into play during a round.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,372 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,251 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 517 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 152 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 12, a 431 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Dixie Oaks Golf Club is # 5, a 285 yard par-4.
