Somerville Country Club first opened for play in 1967.
Somerville Country Club is very hilly and scenic. The course has some elevated greens, and water comes into play on two holes. The real test here is hole #3, a 195-yard, par 3, which tees off through trees, over a large ditch and uphill to an elevated green. There is an additional set of men's tees that can be used when double looping for an eighteen hole round.
Somerville Country Club plays to a 9-hole par of 36 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 2,946 yards. The course rating is 34.4 and the slope rating is 111.
