The Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Maryville, Tennessee.
The course opened for play in 1999. The course was designed by "Dwarf" Jensen.
This course is one of four in the world to feature Jensen's Dwarf grass greens, an extremely durable species with incredible touch. Carved out of 180 acres of heavy woods, the heavily undulated fairways and greens are always well-maintained.
The signature hole is #9, a 327-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg right fairway that leads to an island green. Carts are mandatory.
The course closed in 2010. The course was put up for auction December 2010. When it failed to sell at auction as an 18-hole course, it was auctioned off as residential lots.
