Madisonville Golf Course first opened in 1937. The course was designed by Roy Hyder.
Madisonville Golf Course's fairways are heavily wooded. Lakes come into play on several holes. The greens are small and require accurate shots if you plan on putting for birdies. The most difficult hole is #6, a 468-yard, par 4, which plays longer than the yardage indicates because it plays uphill all the way
From the longest tees it presents 3,201 yards of golf for a par of 36. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
