Designed by Bobby Clampett, the Greens golf course opened in 1994.
The Greens At Deerfield is a scenic course located in the Cumberland Mountains. The course is routed over hilly land with nice views of Norris Lake. The tree-lined fairways are fairly tight, and water comes into play on six holes. The most difficult hole is #3, a 376-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water, then an approach shot over water to an isolated and undulating green.
The Greens at Deerfield plays to a par-71 and 6,716 yards from the tips. The course rating is 72.8 and it has a slope rating of 131.
The course is challenging, no matter which tees you play due to the hilly and sloping fairways, hardly a level lie.
