Highland Green Golf Club, CLOSED 2013

Highland Green Golf Club is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Jackson, Tennessee.

Highland Green Golf Club first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Jim Riggins.

This short and flat course has narrow, tree-lined fairways.  Water hazards come into play on several holes. 

Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,019 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,298 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 490 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 165 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 9, a 405-yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course.  Many golfers say that the most difficult hole is #5, a 406-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot to a small green framed by trees. The easiest hole is # 6, a 165 yard par-3.

The course closed in 2013.

The land is being repurposed to include a tennis facility and croquet facility.
