Ravenwood Golf Club is a Private 18 holes golf course located in Hermitage, Tennessee. Ravenwood Country Club is located 15 minutes from downtown Nashville, Tennessee, on 214 acres overlooking the scenic Stones River.
The course first opened for play in 1964. Ravenwood's par 72, 18-hole course challenges the best of golfers and offers a great recreational experience for the rest of us.
The front nine, built in the mid-60's, is fairly open with round greens, no water, and modest elevation changes. The back nine, added in the late 80's, offers an entirely different golfing experience, with larger contoured greens and more severe elevation changes. Water comes into play on seven holes.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,264 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,941 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 510 Yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 141 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 412 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 303 yard par-4. The signature hole is #16, a difficult 160-yard, par 3, requiring a shot over water,
