Tennessee River has several water hazards, including one on the signature hole, #5, a 521-yard, par 5. This hole has water on the left and out-of-bounds stakes on the right. To play the hole well, you must hit an accurate, solid tee shot, then a lay-up shot to the left, and finally an approach shot over water to an elevated green.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,304 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,102 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 521 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 1, a par-3 that plays to 158 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 461-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Tennessee River is # 10, a 158 yard par-3.
