Lake Haven Golf & Country Club is an "open to the public", semi-private golf 9 hole golf course located in Decatur, Tennessee.
Lake Haven Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1983. The course was designed by Jack Norris.
Located on 72 acres in southern Meigs County Tennessee along the beautiful Hiwassee River, this 9 hole, par 36 course boasts carpet-like bermuda grass fairways and lush bent grass greens. Water comes into play in the form of a spring-fed creek and several ponds on five of the nine holes. Mature trees line the fairways and wild geese can be seen and heard on and around the water. Lucky golfers may even catch sight of one of several bald eagles that nest on the bluffs near the river.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees the course plays to 3200 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 3030 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 540 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 405 yard par-4 challenge and the #2 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Lake Haven Golf & Country Club is # 2, a 540 yard par-5.
Lakehaven has three sets of tees on each hole and has a total measurement of 3200, 3100, and 3030 yards. The holes range in length from the two par 3's at 150-200 yards to the two par 5's at 485-540 yards.
