The most distinguishing feature of The Patriot, located on the shores of Lake Greenwood, is the magnificent earthen fort surrounded by moats and antique brick underground tunnels. The forts ruins, gun turrets and unique design features memorialize the historical importance of the area. . Utilizing the lush features of the nearby protected forest as well as the panoramic beauty of Lake Greenwood, this course is designed to take full advantage of the spectactular natural surroundings.
