The DeBordieu Club is only one mile from the ocean. The course has water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The fast greens are very small, slightly sloped and protected by mounding and moguls. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 16th "Best in State" course for 1995-96.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7146 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5112 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 568 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 170 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 430 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at DeBordieu Club is # 12, a 364 yard par-4. The signature hole is #17, a 449-yard, par 4, which was built next to the waterway.
