Detailed description

Cobb's Creek Golf Club is a 36-hole public golf facility located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Club is the site of the first public golf course in the Greater Philadelphia area and today houses two 18-hole courses - "The Olde Course" and "The Karakung Course."

The Karakung Course opened in 1931. The course was designed by Alan P. Corson and A. H. Smith. The course opened with 11-holes.

The Karakung Course was designed to recreate the character and charm of its sister course, yet meets the challenge of the everyday golfer. The layout is forgiving off the tee, yet demanding on approach shots with small to medium sized greens. The terrain varies from flat to rolling to hilly terrain and offers an enjoyable round to players of all abilities.

Although length may not be a factor, accuracy is a must as the golf course features small-to-medium-sized greens. The Karakung Course also features several elevation changes.

Blue tees: par-71, 5,762 yards
White tees: par-71, 5,625 yards
Red tees: par-71, 5,421 yards
