Hawthorne Valley Golf Club is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Midland, Pennsylvania.

Hawthorne Valley Golf Club first opened for play in 1972. The course was designed by Gene Erath.

This hilly Western Pennsylvania golf course has a variety of different holes. The undulating greens are kept soft, and most fairways are wide open with no defined cut of rough. Some holes are cut through the trees. Water hazards come into play on four holes, but none require a shot over water.  A lake runs along the entire left side of the hole and woods are to the right. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. Ladies' tee off from the same area as the men.

Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,017 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 534 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 158 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 7, the 534 yard par-5 is the #1 handicap hole on the course. This hole has you teeing off from a wide-open box into a narrow chute. The easiest hole is # 6, the 158 yard par-3.
