Madison golf course opened in 1997. The course was designed by Sheffler and Co.
The Madison course plays to a par-72 and a maximum distance of 6,847 yards. There are five sets of tees to test the skills levels of most golfers. Six holes offer wide open fairways. Another half-dozen are tree lined, with seven holes spiced with water. From the back tees, the course is primarily challenging for the advanced amateur. The course's signature hole is #8, a 181-yard, par 3, which plays downhill. A pot bunker presents an obstacle in front of the green, with the backside harboring a large, menacing lake.
