Chisel Creek Golf Club first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Delaware native Bill Hirsch Jr.
The Chisel Creek Golf Course is a mix of open links and tight, tree-lined fairways. The course was carved from the Boxler family farm. Measuring 6,203 yards from the back tees, the layout is relatively free of peripheral development, with less than a dozen fairway-side homes. #3 is a par-3 with an island green.
Chisel Creek lies a mile down Appleton Road off Highway 896 North near the University of Delaware
