Detailed description

Bucks County Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Jamison, Pennsylvania. Jamison is in Eastern Pennsylvania home to some of the most scenic country in the Pennsylvania.

Bucks County Country Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1961. The course was designed by David and Bill Gordon.

Although The Bucks Club was designed in the early 1960s, the rolling terrain of the original layout is reminiscent of the design features used in many of the Philadelphia area classic course routings of the 1920s. While the original front nine remain, new developments have altered the back nine. These back nine holes reflect a contemporary target oriented design. The golf course is walkable, however, elevation changes and the distance between greens and tees on the back nine make for a more challenging trek. While not a particularly long golf course, the undulating greens and bunkering of The Bucks Club make scoring well more difficult.

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6,275 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,076 yards and plays to a ladies par of 71. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 520 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 136 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 430 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Bucks County Country Club is # 17, a 350 yard par-4.
