Homestead Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Tipp City, Ohio.
Designed by William W. Amick, ASGCA, the Homestead golf course first opened for play in 1965 as a 9 hole course built on 60 acres.
In 1973, the land across the street was purchased to provide space for the nine additional holes and an irrigation system to keep the grass green. The tees and sand bunkers are repeatedly rebuilt and The 19th Hole, a popular final destination for an alcoholic beverage or snack, was remodeled to resemble a log cabin.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6274 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5335 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 501 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 154 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 397 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Homestead Golf Course is # 7, the 154 yard par-3.
