As of February 1, 2006, the City of Stow became the owner of Fox Den Golf Course, located on the southeast corners of Call and Young Roads in Stow.
The City seized the opportunity to preserve one of the top-rated golf courses in the state of Ohio as a community recreational facility. Not only does Stow have a golfing destination, but the City was able to retain approximately 130 acres of attractive green space for the enjoyment of all Stows citizens that otherwise may have been sold to a developer.
The golf course is operated under the City's Service Department. The City retained key personnel in order to continue the tradition of high quality service to the public.
