Belleview Park Golf Course first opened for play in 1927.
Belleview Park Golf Course was built on rolling terrain and has tree-lined fairways. There is water that comes into play on two holes, but there are no sand bunkers on the course. The greens are average-sized and fairly easy to putt.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees the course plays to 3,121 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,446 yards. Hole #7, a 430-yard, par 4, will test your skill with its slight dogleg left fairway.
This golf course, once a part of Belleview Park, is now the property of Franciscan University. The grounds are open to the public during daylight hours and students at the University frequent the hills for cross country practice runs.
Belleview Park Golf Course closed in 2006.
