Port Clinton Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Port Clinton, Ohio, just five miles from Lake Erie.
Port Clinton Golf Course first opened for play in 1964.
Port Clinton Golf Course was built on mostly flat terrain. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on some holes. Men and women tee off from the same set of tees.
Port Clinton Golf Course plays to a 9-hole par of 36 and measures 2,981 yards.
Port Clinton Golf Course closed in 2009.
The group ‘Ducks Unlimited” bought the 62-acre course and donated it to the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge for development into a nature preserve.
The course sat on the banks of the Portage River, so it’s an excellent location for recreational boating such as canoeing and kayaking.
