Indian Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Newtown, Ohio.
Indian Valley Golf Course opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Marion Mendenhall.
For children and adults, the course is inviting. At a junior rate of $10 until 1 p.m. it's also an incredibly cheap weekday afternoon rate of $15 for 18 holes for adults. Besides affordability, the course offers interest and diversion. Conditions aren't country club quality, but they're playable. Greens are usually a little slower than elsewhere but are matured and usually smooth. Fairways are a little long but lack many bad patches and while bunkers may have a few footprints, a bad sand shot will most probably be the fault of your wedge play.
Indian Valley Golf Course plays to a par-70 and measures 6,007 yards from the tips. The course rating is 68.3 with a slope rating of 113.
Indian Valley Golf Course closed for play in 2007. The course was repurposed for other Sunday activities, it is now the home to Horizon Community Church.
