Acacia Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Lyndhurst, Ohio

Acacia Country Club was founded in 1922. The club in its current location opened for play in 1925. The course was designed by Donald Ross.

Gold tees: par-71, 6,744 yards, 72.5 / 129

Blue tees: par-71, 6,395 yards, 71.1 / 126

White tees: par-71, 6,232 yards, 69.8 / 122

Red tees: par-74, 5,736 yards, 73.3 / 129

Acacia closed for play in 2012. The course will remain open space, as part of the Cleveland Metroparks System.

Club shareholders approved the sale of the 160-acre property in Lyndhurst to the Conservation Fund, a Virginia-based non-profit organization.  The deal was for $14.75 million.

The Conservation Fund purchases property as part of its stated mission "to pursue environmental preservation and economic development."

When the deal closed, Acacia was able to liquidate nearly $4 million in debt that has accrued over the last decade as expenses rose while membership steadily declined.
