Knoll Run Golf Course, previously named Countryside Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Lowellville, Ohio.
Countryside first opened for play 1967. With the name change to Knoll Run in 2007, the course was renovated and many aspects upgraded.
Water comes into play on several holes and there are a number of tricky doglegs throughout. #14, a par-4, doglegs almost 90-degree angle to the left. Stands of trees line the fairways as well, but perhaps the biggest challenges on the course are presented by the greens. The subtly contoured surfaces are made even tougher with the addition of strategically placed bunkers. Knoll Run Golf Course's back nine is slightly longer and more difficult than the front nine. The course is a fair but fun test that's not overly demanding.
