The Lancaster Country Club first opened for play in 1909 as a 9-hole course. The original course was redesigned by the Donald Ross Design Company in 1926, and has all of the character you would expect from a design that early. Gently rolling hills, mounded greens, and a design that fits with the surrounding land. In 1959 the course was exanded to 18 holes by renouned designer Jack Kidwell. In the 1980's the Donald Ross Society visited and offered direction on a redesign of the front 9 (Kidwell Side) that would make the two sides flow together.
The Lancaster Country golf course plays to a par-72 and a maximum distance of 6,657 yards. Lancaster Country Club that has hosted the following events:
