Elyria Country Club is a Private 18 holes golf course located in Elyria, Ohio .
Elyria Country Club first opened for play in 1905 as a nine hole course. Land acquired in 1925 made expansion possible. Golf course architect, William S. Flynn of Ardmore, Pa. was contracted to design and develop 18 new holes on 161 acres. The new course opened on July 4, 1926.
Black River marks the eastern boundary of the course.
