The Harbor Golf Club is a semi-private 18-hole facility, located approximately one block from the Lake Erie shoreline in Ashtabula, OH, which is between Cleveland, OH, and Erie, PA. It was begun in 1923 with the first nine holes designed by Bertie Way, a noted professional in the early decades of the 20th century. The club operated as a private facility until the end of 2004 when members decided to sell to a group of partners who now operate the facility on a semi-private basis. After the purchase, the name was changed from the Ashtabula Country Club to The Harbor Golf Club.
