J. E. Good Park Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in West Akron, a mere three miles from Downtown Akron, Ohio.
J. E. Good Park Golf Course was designed in 1924 by Bertie Way, the very same course architect of the famed Firestone South.
J.E. Good Park (know simply as "The Park" by the locals) is the ideal place to challenge your golfing skills. The Park's trademark is the 180 acres of tree-lined fairways and well-placed bunkers, which put a premium on shot accuracy rather than being a bombers paradise. Your long irons and hybrid clubs will get a workout. Once on the green, the golfer will find true and fair putts that can become very difficult if you find yourself above the hole. The course is easy to walk with subtle hills and a short distance from greens to tees.
