Washington Yacht & Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Washington, North Carolina.
The course first opened for play in 1949 as a 9-hole facility. The original 9 was designed by architect William Gordon who was a Charter Member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. An additional 9 holes were constructed in 1977 by well know architect Gene Hamm.
The course has small,undulating, and well-maintained greens. Water hazards come into play on six holes and sand bunkers are spread over the entire course.
