Deep Springs Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1979. The course was designed by Ellis Maples.
This championship golf course has four sets of tees to accommodate and challenge any golfer at any level of ability. The course layout has over 150,000 square feet of putting surface. Other features include 60 bunkers, water in play on 6 holes, Bent grass greens, and Tifton 419 Bermuda fairways on the front nine and Varmont Bermuda fairways on the back nine. A driving range and a practice putting green are also available.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,936 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,022 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 536 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 168 yards from the back tees. The signature hole is #3, a 164-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water.
