Maple Leaf Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Kernersville, North Carolina.
The course first opened in 1970 as a nine-hole course designed by Ellis Maples. Bill Lankford Sr. and the owner at the time, Don Charles, added another nine holes in 1989.
Maple Leaf Golf Course has a tight front nine and a fairly open back nine. The signature hole is #5, a 350-yard, par 4, which requires an approach shot over a lake. There are sand bunkers on half of the holes. Water comes into play a couple times on the front nine, and on the back nine, there is a meandering creek that comes into play on two holes.

Bill Lankford Sr. ran and operated Maple Leaf Golf Club since 1984. He died in November 2016 at the age of 79. After his death, in December 2016, his family decided not to renew the lease on the property and the course closed.%u200B
