The Lazy Swan first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Hal Purdy. The course has been redesigned by Barry Jordan.
The Lazy Swan Golf Course is an excellent design that includes a combination of wide-open driving holes and several finesse holes. Water hazards (ponds and creeks) come into play on five holes. The course is easily walkable, players will encounter several cascading and reflection ponds, rock outcroppings, dramatic elevation changes, an alpine garden, and beautiful views to the Catskill Mountains, all within a beautiful landscape.
Par for the course is 35. From the back tees the course plays to 3,140 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 2,431 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 530 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 173 yards from the back tees.
