Douglaston Golf Club first opened for play in 1927. The course was designed by Willie Tucker. Robert Bruce Harris, Frank Duane, and Stephen King have done redesigns on the course.
This short course features narrow fairways, plus many hills that can cause uneven lies. The main features that make this course so difficult are the various required blind shots. There is only one water hazard on the course and it comes into play on hole #5, a 140-yard, par 3. Robert Bruce Harris and Frank Duane have done redesigns on the course.
Douglaston Golf Course is known for its spectacular views, this short and hilly course will still provide a challenge for even the low handicap golfer. Rare course with seven par 3 holes.
