The Apple Ridge golf course opened in 1965. The course was designed by Hal C. Purdy.
The course was built on flat terrain, and all the fairways are tree lined.
Apple Ridge Country Club plays to a par-71 and a distance of 6,624 yards. The course rating is 72.2 with a slope rating of 124.
Course closed 2015
Clinton Carlough bought the property, which was originally an apple orchard, and built the country club. It was family-owned and operated by the Carloughs until it was sold in 2014. The course officially closed in 2015.
The property was purchased by Toll Brothers.
The initial plan is to build 78 upscale homes on the property — each on 36,000-square-foot parcels.
