Spring Creek Golf Course first opened for play in 1973.
Spring Creek is located in a large valley between the Elko Hills to the northwest, and the Ruby Mountains to the southeast. To the southwest is Huntington Valley and the South Fork of the Humboldt River, while to the north is the main branch of the Humboldt. The city of Elko is approximately 6 miles to the northwest, while Lamoille is just to the east.
Spring Creek Golf Course was built on hilly terrain, so expect many changes in elevation and uneven lies. A great deal of the natural sage brush, plus numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into this course's design. The course features a wonderful view of the Ruby Mountains. The signature hole is #2, a 426-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot to a green surrounded by trees and sand bunkers.
The Spring Creek Golf Course facility in Spring Creek plays to a par-71 and a maximum distance of 6,302 yards. The course rating is 70.6 and the slope rating is 121.
Back tees: par-71, 6,302 yards, 70.6 /121.
Forward tees: par-71, 5,658 yards, 70.5/124.
