Silverstone Golf Club -Desert/Valley/Mountain, is a Resort, 27 hole golf course facility located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Silverstone Golf Club facility has three 9-hole courses. They are The Desert, The Valley, and The Mountain. These course can be paired to form 3 different 19-hole venues, Desert/Valley, Desert/Mountain, and valley/Mountain.
The 27-hole complex at Silverstone Golf Club Las Vegas has three separate 9s. they were designed by Robert E. Cupp the club opened for play in 2001.
The 9-hole "Desert" course at the Silverstone Golf Club plays to 3,560 yards and a par-36. The 9-hole "Valley" course at the Silverstone Golf Club plays to 3,398 yards and a par-36. The 9-hole "Mountain" course at the Silverstone Golf Club plays to 3,599 yards and a par-36.
The Silverstone Golf Club Las Vegas golf course is a "desert mountain" layout of generous fairways, lush and undulating greens, rolling dunes, and spectacular views of Sheep Mountain. Silverstone Golf Club's course will test the low handicap golfers, however with four sets of tees, enjoyable round of golf can be dialed in by all skill levels. The club is just minutes from the Strip in northwest Las Vegas.
The course was sold and immediately closed. The closure took place on September 2, 2015. A September 1 letter from the seller states that the course’s new owner “intends to close” the course. It does not say whether the unnamed company plans to reopen Silverstone or what other plans it might have for the course. There is speculation that the course was purchased for residential development.
