Tower Tee Par 3 Golf Course is a Public 18 hole par-3 golf course located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Tower Tee has been a tradition in St. Louis golf for 50 years, and boasts the oldest and busiest golf range in the area. Roy Lotz built the range in 1963. The Tee has stayed in the family since then, with Roy’s son Dick taking over and finally Steve Lotz taking over in 2002.
From the early days, a 10,000 square foot putting green has graced the entrance to the facility, but the range has seen a change. In 2005, Tower Tee expanded its range distance from 275 yards to 390 yards up the middle. The par 3 course, opened in 1965 with 9-holes and expanded to 18 holes in 1970.
Par for the course is 54. From the back tees the course plays to 2000 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2000 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 180 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 60 yards from the back tees.
The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are well-bunkered. There are water hazards that come into play on several holes.
In addition to the 18-hole par-3 course, Tower tee has a10,000 square foot putting green, a well-lit driving range, a miniature golf course and batting cages. This is the place for fun for the whole family.
