Deer Run Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Victoria, Minnesota.
Deer Run first opened for play in 1989. The course was designed by Mike Schultz.
Deer Run GC boasts a classic layout – a very playable and challenging par 71 golf course. Approximately 6300 yards from the black tees, 6146 yards from the whites and 5040 from the reds - Deer Run GC has maintained the length of most classic golf courses. This course emphasizes shot making and the joy of playing a variety of shots and the chess-like skill of course management.
Pace of play is well managed. Deer Run GC has full-time starters and rangers to insure a proper pace of play.
Their practice facility includes: a driving range with target greens at 100, 150, and 200 yards, two putting greens, and green side and fairway bunkers.
Their club house was converted from the original McKnight Chaska-brick farmhouse (over 100 years old). Deer Run GC is full of old-fashioned charm, yet features all of the latest amenities. The course is located is just south of Lake Minnetonka.
