Bay Valley Golf Club, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Bay City, Michigan.
Bay Valley first opened for play in 1973. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead.
This is a gently rolling course with greens that are very large, undulating and fast. The fairways are generous, but there are several water hazards that come into play on thirteen holes, including #5, a 174-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a marsh and mounds of grass and heather. There are also many sand bunkers located throughout the entire course.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,661 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,923 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 587 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 154 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 476-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Bay Valley Golf Course is # 16, a 356 yard par-4.
