Indian Meadows Golf Club is a Semi-Private 9 hole golf course located in Westborough, Massachusetts.
Indian Meadows was originally an 18 hole private course that opened in the 1960s. In the 1980's land development overtook the original course.
A completely new 9-hole course was designed by 25-year veteran golf pro and superintendent Arthur Billingham. The course opened in 1991. The design reflected Art’s traditionalist views of Golf and a strong influence by turn of the century architect Donald Ross. At 3,265 yards in length and a par of 36, the course opened in 1991, challenging players with tightly mowed fairways leading to raise, rolling greens, surrounded by mounds with a minimum of sand traps.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees the course plays to 3,265 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,468 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 480 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 174 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 443 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Indian Meadows is # 5, the 174 yard par-3.
