Stowaway Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Stow, Massachusetts.
Stowaway Golf Course first opened for play in 1920. The course was originally named Assabet Country Club, no doubt named for the nearby Assabet River.
The course can best be described as primative. The "tee boxes" are mats. The greens are small and made to seem smaller and farther away with the course's short, signature 5-foot tall flag pins.
Blue tees: par-36, 2,725 yards, 34.2 / 99
Red tees: par-36, 2,187 yards, 34.3 / 99
The course closed in 2012.
