Stow Acres Country Club, is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Stow, Massachusetts, 25 miles west of Boston. The grounds are comprised of two award winning championship 18-hole golf courses centered around a renovated antique Victorian clubhouse.The two 18-hole golf courses are The North Course and The South Course.
The North Course opened for play in 1965. It, like The South Course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish
The par 72 championship North Course stretches to nearly 7,000 yards and winds through pine forest, ponds, and streams. The North, both longer and flatter of the two courses at Stow Acres. The North Course has eight ponds that come into play on seven of the holes. The fairways are tree lined, but none of them parallel each other.
The North Course course hosted the 70th U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship and the 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 PGA Open Qualifier for the Deutsche Bank PGA Championship. The North Course at Stow Acres is one of New England's most challenging courses.
