Brookline Country Club, is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Brookline, Massachusetts.
The course dates to 1900. The course architect was Willie Campbell. Over the years, the course has undergone numerous revisions adding punishing hazards and stretching the course from its original 2,300 yard length to the current 2,961 yards.
The course is a mature parkland style course. Lateral hazards and midway bunkers make the straight tee-shot essential to complete a decent round. With out-of-bounds located on every hole except the 1st hole, approach shots must be taken with caution. The gems of the course are the greens with a rating of 12 or higher on the stimp meter making the short game the most treacherous. The course also offers a fair challenge of length with 2 long par-3's at about 190 yards each and a 560 yard par-5. With a course rating of 34.4 and slope of 120 on bent grass, Brockton Country Club rivals southeastern Massachusetts finest.
