The Marlton Golf Club golf course was built on a former golf course that had been closed for eighteen years. The owners spent $7 million rehabilitating the land. The course is hilly and a player will need every iron in his or her bag. The fairways are tree lined and the greens are very fair, facilitating a true roll.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,181 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 4,677 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 551 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 128 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 421 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at the Marlton Golf Club golf course is # 12, a 149 yard par-3. The signature hole is #17, a 169-yard, par 3, which is protected with a sand bunker on the left and water surrounding the green.
